This stuff is defiantly better than just plain Rogaine. It really does make your hair grow thicker and faster. The drawback is that it does leave your hair and scalp with a slight yellow in hue after a couple of days use. Bottom line: it works, but you will have to wash your hair almost every day if you don't want the discoloration.

If you are looking for a product to help grow your hair, I recommend Spectral DNC. I have been using this product for about 10 months and I can honestly say that there is a remarkable difference in the thickness of my hair. In my case this product not only works on the crown but on the frontal area as well. Spetral DNC will cost you about $35 a month but if you have the same results that I have it will be worth it.

First, this product is not the only thing that I am using to battle my hair loss, therefore it is difficult to say exactly what is working. But what I can say with certainty is that the things that I am doing are DEFINITELY working. If you want to know, keep reading....

As per the instructions, I use DS Laboratories Revita Hair Growth Stimulating Shampoo, 180 ml Bottle at least once a day. I then use this product (the one that I'm reviewing here - Spectral DNC Topical Hair Loss Treatment). I apply that once in the morning and at night (again, as per the instructions).

I also use Rene Furterer Triphasic Regenerating Formula for Thin Hair, .18 oz. - 16 vials according to the instructions. At night, I also use Rene Furterer Forticea Stimulating Shampoo 5.07 fl oz (150 ml) to wash my hair.

I've been using these 4 products for 3 months now and I see AMAZING results. The bottom line is that they work. Not only has it halted my hair loss, but I also have FIELDS of hair growing back along what used to be my receding hairline.

The majority of the hair that's growing back at this stage is like fuzzy "baby" hair. I see LOTS of this hair where before there was none. There are also hairs that are more mature that have been growing back for longer. These hairs are about half way in between the "baby" hairs and a totally mature hair. They are longer, have more color, thicker, and seem to be well on their way to becoming a fully mature hair. I expect the other "baby" hairs to mature in the same way and hopefully, they will all become fully mature.

The one thing that I don't like about this product is the smell. It's just not that great. The good thing though is that the scent is not that strong. After it dries, I can't smell it. But if I sweat, and I go to the gym and sweat just about every day, I can smell it. Again, it's not that powerful of a scent, but it's there. All in all though, that's a very minor issue to deal with considering the results.
