While this isn't *exactly* like the original stylus that comes with the DSL, it's a good replacement and works fine. It fits in the game's insert well. I have 2 young boys that love to play with these (somehow they get ahold of it when I'm not looking! ha ha) so I'm glad that I got 4 of them. Good price. Even after shipping it's much more cost-effective than getting them at stores like Walmart.
