I bought a couple of these skins for my boys' DS Lites. They're really hard their toys and don't really have an appreciation for the cost of things, so taking care of them isn't on the top of their list!

Anyway, they're easy enough to put on, but they seem to get stretched out and then fall off easily. Also, in the back where you put the DS game cartridge in, the case has ripped on BOTH of the cases my boys are using. It might be better if the places that are prone to ripping could be reinforced somehow.

I ordered this along with my brand new DS lite, and was disappointed with it the moment I put it on. First, it doesn't quite fit properly. No matter how you adjust it, there are odd wrinkles and bulges. As soon as you get rid of them in one spot, they pop up in another. The DS won't close all the way with this skin on, even if you flatten out the inside surfaces. It's also very opaque, despite being called "clear." I realized that, being made of silicon, it wouldn't be completely invisible, but it's pretty darn milky (and in my opinion, ugly). I'm sure this product will protect a DS from minor scratches, but not much else. There are plenty of openings for dust, dirt, hair, etc. to get inside, and in the event of a fall you might as well not have any case at all.

I immediately removed this eyesore and ordered one of the hard plastic see-through cases instead. I might update this review when it arrives, but I have one on my iPod and have no complaints.

When it has came down to the Nintendo DS, most of the focus has been on the hugely acclaimed success of the Nintendo DSi, and the ability to download games online. But while that is the case right now, that still doesn't mean there are many overlooked cases with the Nintendo DS Lite. There are still many accessories you can still buy for the system. This Nintendo DS Lite skin case is simple and easy to hook onto the system, and makes the grip a lot easier when you're playing your favorite DS games, and Game Boy Advance Games as well. It is a affordable price that does make it all worth the while for the hardcore DS gamer on the go. I definitely recommend this skin that is in.
