4.0 out of 5 stars Great Item! I love it!!
This item is great! It fit my 15" Macbook Pro perfectly and doesn't block any jacks or slots or buttons in any way. it opens and closes perfectly as well. It even allows for a better grip when picking it up which helps prevent you dropping it which is ideal! Every Macbook Pro user needs this protective cover!!! Get it, you won't be sorry! Definitely worth the money!!

2.0 out of 5 stars Looks ARE deceiving; price matters
Of course, right off the bat the price lured me to this product. The others offered by the Apple store were double this. However, there's a reason Speck and InCase are brands sold in the Apple store. I made a mistake by going cheap to protect my $1700 unibody macbook pro. First few times I tried, I was able to snap it and on off. I realized I couldn't open the laptop...

I realized I couldn't open the laptop as far back as I would like so I kept the bottom portion off. Now the top won't come off AT ALL! And my laptop doesn't close all the way, almost looks like it's warping upward on the corners because of the extra plastic in the back of the case that snaps onto the mac. IF I can get this stupid thing off, I'm definitely going to buy a Speck satin case -- frustrating that I'm spending almost $10 more than what I would've spent if I had just gotten it at the Apple store afterall.
