4.0 out of 5 stars A Telescope for your DSi
I picked this one from Best Buy, and it works as advertised. the 8x Zoom magnification really works, and is great for taking long distance pictures. I can also use that as a handheld telescope sans DSI, although that's a pain and not it's intended use. It is an actual telescope with manual focus. 1.0 out of 5 stars Could be better
The zoom on this works just fine, however when attatched to the DSi, the mounting case cracked. The lens also had some debris inside of it, which i was unable to get out; leading to a black spot in every picture taken.

I picked this one from Best Buy, and it works as advertised. the 8x Zoom magnification really works, and is great for taking long distance pictures. I can also use that as a handheld telescope sans DSI, although that's a pain and not it's intended use. It is an actual telescope with manual focus. The telescope screws to the protective case, and is secure. Overall, I like it very much. I do have a few issues:

1. The protective case is great, and a snug fit. However, the cover for lens hole is flimsy, and I'm not sure it'll stay there with rough handling.

2. The Telescope, when installed, is rather heavy and prone to tip the DSi over. I guess this can't be helped. After all, using Titanium will probably make it too costly. It does substract from the experience.

3. You have to hold the DSi really, really still. Zooming with that high level of magnification means that any little movement will translate into lots of movement and thus, blurry picture.

4. I like the filters, but it doesn't have yellow. Only yellowish-green. With color-correction active, it does make a difference. Unfortunately, there is no easy way to carry the filters. I think I ended up throwing them out.

5. The carrying case for the telescope does not screw. Fortunately, it is the right size for my pocket. The plastic seems to be made of high-quality, high-density plastic.

Overall, I recommend this if you like taking pictures with DSi. The plus outweight the minus. I used to hold binocular to the camera lens. Although that works, it was rather inconvenient, while making me look like a dork. At least, this accessory is much more convenient, and make me look like a geek that I am.
