Cheap Player - Died Quickly,
This review is from: DUAL SCREEN 7" PORTABLE DVD PLAYER (Electronics)
We purchased this item from Wal-Mart a while back. We took them with us on an 2 week trip and they were great at first. After a couple of uses, the battery wouldn't charge any more and before we arrived home it would no longer read the DVD. My good friends at Wal-mart were less than helpful and the warrenty is invalid because the manufacturer went out of business. Be careful be for you buy this one.

Nice but did not last long,
This review is from: DUAL SCREEN 7" PORTABLE DVD PLAYER (Electronics)
I bought this item refurbished it only lasted about 6- 8 mos. I liked the dvd the volume was not as high as i would have liked but on some dvds the sound was much louder. It was very easy to change the dvd's in and out. It came with a simple strap that wrapped around the seat to hold them to the headrest which sometimes had to be readjusted to sit straight but i still liked it. The remote worked very well with it. The very worst thing that happened to the dvd player was very dangerous while me and the family were traveling in the van with our kids in the back seat, we smelled smoke and the dvd player was smoking no warning that their was a problem with the dvd player before then. I would be afraid to leave this dvd player with a child alone. I gave it 3 stars because I had another dvd player and it was worse than it. I hope this helps.

I have bought 2 of these units in the last 2 years. The 1st unit lasted for about a dozen trips in the car. (On it's last trip smoke started to come out of the dvd player and melted the side of it) So much for fuses!!!
A year later I tried again. It lasted all of 3 times. Would'nt power up with ac or dc. The units work great while they work. I just don't think they do well getting bumped around AT ALL! Out of the 2 sets I was able to get one screen working. With a few extra parts I hooked up my 80gb Video/mp3 Zen vision M player to it. My zen holds about 100 xvid movies so it's almost better now. I don't have to deal with any dvd's.
