Protect & Extend the Life of Your Batteries
Two-way microchip communication offers auto-cutoff & trickle charging. Once your batteries have reached full capacity, the Dual-ion+ will automatically cutoff the standard charging current preventing them from overcharging. When batteries are full, the Dual-ion+ begins trickle charging, delivering 5% of the standard charging current, ensuring that your batteries stay at full capacity.

Take Guesswork Out of Charging Your Batteries
The Dual-ion+ features 2 LED power displays that monitor the progress of each battery. Four red, blinking LED lights show when batteries are at 25%, 50%, 75%, & 100% charge levels. When the lights shut off, the battery is full.

2 Different Batteries to Charge? No Problem!
Designed with an interchangeable plate interface, the Dual-ion+ allows you to charge both at once, with additional battery plates. The Dual-ion+ auto-detects voltages ranging from 3.6v to 8.4v, making it compatible with several popular brands.

This Dual charger saves time in having to charge two batteries at the same time instead of using canons single charger and waiting for 1 battery to charge to swap onto the next battery. I also love the fact that you can change the charging plates for different types of batteries like the double AA batteries that allow me to charge up to 8 batteries at once. Highly Recommended product!

I've using this with my 5D Mark II, and while I had high hopes in the beginning, it has been a major disappointment. After only 2 weeks of use, this charger has become unreliable in my day to day use.

Pros (when it worked):
The battery indicators are really nice and bright, I like how it has four levels of charging status.
This pack charges FAST! It seems faster than the canon battery charger.
So convenient to charge two batteries at once, in the same location.
Small and compact. Fit's in my gear bag without taking up too much space.

Cons:
Will stop charging batteries whenever it feels like.
The power cable has to be plugged into the unit a certain way or it wont work. If it so much as gets bumped while charging, charging will cease and I'll have to wiggle and twist the plug until it starts back up.
It says it's a 100% charge, but I'll put in my camera, and will be anywhere from 15% battery to 80%. (Tested with 7 different batteries, 4 Canon batteries, and 3 aftermarket. Same results.)

Now I shoot a lot of video with my Mark II, and have definitely put this charger through the ringer. In a 10 hour period, it will be charging 2 batteries constantly during that time with little to no breaks. While this strain could have added to the unreliability, it shouldn't have. I can't recommend this product if you're needing something that will work when you need it to. In a professional setting, I cannot recommend this charger.

Takes two hours to fully recharge my canon 7d batteries (2 pcs.) plus you can do it in a car too as well as in the countries that use 230V. Worth buying.
