This Dual charger saves time in having to charge two batteries at the same time instead of using canons single charger and waiting for 1 battery to charge to swap onto the next battery. I also love the fact that you can change the charging plates for different types of batteries like the double AA batteries that allow me to charge up to 8 batteries at once. Highly Recommended product!

I've using this with my 5D Mark II, and while I had high hopes in the beginning, it has been a major disappointment. After only 2 weeks of use, this charger has become unreliable in my day to day use.

Pros (when it worked):
The battery indicators are really nice and bright, I like how it has four levels of charging status.
This pack charges FAST! It seems faster than the canon battery charger.
So convenient to charge two batteries at once, in the same location.
Small and compact. Fit's in my gear bag without taking up too much space.

Cons:
Will stop charging batteries whenever it feels like.
The power cable has to be plugged into the unit a certain way or it wont work. If it so much as gets bumped while charging, charging will cease and I'll have to wiggle and twist the plug until it starts back up.
It says it's a 100% charge, but I'll put in my camera, and will be anywhere from 15% battery to 80%. (Tested with 7 different batteries, 4 Canon batteries, and 3 aftermarket. Same results.)

Now I shoot a lot of video with my Mark II, and have definitely put this charger through the ringer. In a 10 hour period, it will be charging 2 batteries constantly during that time with little to no breaks. While this strain could have added to the unreliability, it shouldn't have. I can't recommend this product if you're needing something that will work when you need it to. In a professional setting, I cannot recommend this charger.

Takes two hours to fully recharge my canon 7d batteries (2 pcs.) plus you can do it in a car too as well as in the countries that use 230V. Worth buying.

I bought this because I needed a 12v compatible charger for my canon batteries. It charges 2 at once, and seems to work well. The LEDs are somewhat confusing, but charging 2 at once is a REALLY nice feature and more than makes up for a poor user interface.

I have 4 Batteries for my 7D. Charging them was a pain using only the charger that came with the camera as I tend to charge everything overnight.
This charger is excellent. It charges the batteries and has a nice light indicator, it also comes with a car socket that fits in the car lighter and it recently helped me while on a shoot for a couple of days to charge 2 batteries while I'm driving from one location to the other.
The product itself is different than the one featured. I like it more that way as it takes less space

This works rather well, seems to charge original Canon and aftermarket Li-ion batteries equally well. Just be patient, it doesn't charge real fast, but I think it's a better charge that doesn't charge really fast anyway, so long as it charges fully. I returned another brand to get this with Maximal Power batteries to supplement my 60D's original battery, and all is working well with accordingly. I especially like the multi-power source feature, where you can charge from car, or 120V outlet, and the fact that it 'trips' once charge is full, and supplies a trickle after that. I haven't used the multi battery feature, using just the one kind that fits in the adapter plate, but that's pretty cool as well if you could use it.

this unit is awesome. i have 2 singles and this double and i keep 6 batteries going for my 7d!!! i have had the unit for 4 months now and it is used at least 5 days a week..so far, so good!!!

I've only used it a couple of times but so far it works great. I don't have to charge my batteries one at a time anymore. The blinking lights above the battery indicate the charge in progress in 25% increments. It's been very convenient and for the price, it's worth it.

When I purchased my Canon 7D in November of 2009 along with Canon's expensive LP-E6 batteries I remember wishing there was a charger that would simultaneously charge two batteries since I also bought a battery grip which holds two batteries. I don't know how long this DUAL-ion+REVIVE charger has been around but I stumbled upon it while looking for less expensive batteries for shooting a wedding. It is really great to be able to charge a couple of batteries simultaneously! Getting not only an AC charging cord but also one for the car is also a big plus. Additionally, this charger advertises that it works on all LP-E6 batteries whereas other chargers are exclusive to a particular brand.
So this simple device has proved to be quite a time saver for me and allows me to get away from using an inverter in my vehicle for plugging in an AC-only charger. BTW: The cheaper-than-Canon's Vivitar VIV-CB-E6 Battery Packs work just fine with this charger.

I have been looking for some thing to charge my Lp-e6 canon Batteries more then just one at a time , I found it The Dual-ion Revive series Charger and let me tell you It works Nicely .
Even more I found out it will even charge in your car a big plus . I love this thing . now I need one for my T1i canon . I would buy this thing over and over it is well worth the money . The best part is It realy works GOOD . Love it .
