Product Description

DUALSAW's patented counter rotating blade technology makes it the only saw with 2 blades that simultaneously rotate in opposite directions! This professional grade saw's unique technology and dual blade design allow you to cut through virtually any material without changing blades. DUALSAW's precision engineering lets you plunge cut through virtually every material without the usual pilot hole drilling. The included tungsten-carbide blades wield enough power to cut through wood, plastic, metal, and the diamond blades (sold separately) cut through stone, tile, and masonry without the need for a wet saw. * Less Kickback for Better Accuracy * Reduces Sparks and Overheating * High-Performance With Minimal Vibrations * Precision Cutting - Less Splintering and Breaking The DUAL SAW is powered by a patented high speed system with a 900 watt motor that rotates the dual blades in opposite directions at 5,500 RPMs. In comparison, the DUAL SAW offers 1,000+ more RPMs for the value. DUAL SAW's inverted rotation moves its two blades equally both forward and backward. Eliminate the usual kickback, vibrations and sparks that other saws cause. DUAL SAW's professional lubricating system allows you to cut through soft metals like aluminum, copper and stainless steel without overheating or warping them. DUAL SAW's laser-honed, tungsten carbide-tipped blades cut hard and soft metals, hard wood, PVC, Formica, iron, plastics, aluminum, wood, copper, stainless steel and more. Our Diamond Blades add the versatility of a wet saw to cut stone, ceramics, tile and more. Inside this box: 1 Set of All-Purpose Electro- steel Blades, Laser Guide Attachment, 10 Lubrication Sticks, T-Wrench Multi Tool, Hard-Shell Protective Case, User Manual

Verified Purchase
As a homeowner, hobbyist, renovator and builder I have accumulated a lot of tools that are right for the job. In spite of all of those tools there are still some tools that have not been economically feasible to purchase because of the relatively few amount of jobs that they will be used on. The Dualsaw has filled that gap quite nicely. I can now cut the aluminum plate that was difficult before as well as steel trim, downspouts, sink openings in counter-tops, and so many other things without ever having to fetch another tool or change the setup on a tool. I wouldn't say that the Dualsaw is always a replacement for your larger tools, but it is definitely an enhancement to the capabilities of a circular saw, a jig saw, a chop saw, an angle grinder and numerous hand tools. Today I cut a solid aluminum bar that was 3/4" thick and 3" wide into several pieces. The saw cut it with ease and left the cut surface smooth, shiny and burr-less. I have tried all of the advertised capabilities of the Dualsaw and have found them to be completely accurate. My next purchase will be the 6 1/8" Upgrade kit. It can only make a good thing better.

I have seen this saw advertised and in the store many times and was curious as to it's usefulness. Several days ago while browsing the isles of COSTCO, I came across the saw. It was only $59,95 after an instant rebate. At an attractive price like that, I decided to go for it. I had a wood palate that needed to be cut up an put in the trash. I unpacked the saw and plugged it in. My first impression was that is was fairly heavy and solid like a real saw. The first few cut I used it
like a skill saw, and the lower guard tended to hang-up on the edge of the board, 3/4" X 4" pine, and was difficult to start the cut. Next I pulled the guard back to start the cut, which went much smoother. I tried several plunge cuts by pulling back the guard which worked well. Right angle cuts didn't come out square. Since the saw does not have a base shoe or any way to adjust depth, you will bottom out on the saw case and it is a free hand operation. Any tilting or twisting
will cause the saw to bind.

Last night I decided to read the owners manual, maybe I was doing something wrong! Seventeen of the 23 pages have warnings. Operation is limited to 4 pages which contain more warnings. What do they mean by this,"Always feed material parallel to the blade". I think they mean perpendicular or right angle? "Always hold the saw firmly with both hands.." but "retract the guard manually to make pocket or compound cuts????

Bottom line, in my opinion, I think the saw has limited or special use. The lack of a foot plate, depth control and guard hang-up, limits it's use. Will I keep or return it??? I'll check out their web site for a demo video and cut up somemore palates before I decide.

Dec23,2012. For $59 I decided to keep the saw. I cut some 12' corrugated sheet metal roof panels, length-wise, and it worked good. Cuts fast, but really makes a lot of noise. I still think a foot plate would be a big improvement.

I used this saw to cut my way through four layers of old flooring with hundreds of nails, wood screws and staples. It did the job without any dangerous kick-back.

The saw did bog down on deeper cuts so we made multiple passes of incrementally deeper cuts. We found the application of the lubricant stick to be a bit clumsy at first but improved with practice. Lack of a base shoe to control cut depth was the biggest weakness. Cutting the whole floor up free-hand was somewhat difficult.

Overall, the saw got the job done and was good value for the money

I bought this saw at Costco $59, 95 after an instant rebate. I had a helium gas tank which I used for blowing balloons at party I keep it for a year to find right tools to cut it in half and use it for other purpose .any way I use the saw and it cut through it like butter .the steal is 1mm, which make this saw very impressive I am keeping this saw and will try to cut other materials to see how well it does and update my review.

I have the Ridgid version of this saw. It has a 5" blade, a 10 amp motor, and grips that are more akin to those found on a traditional circular saw. Therefore it is not exactly comparable to the Dualsaw but is very similar. The twin blade design allows for plunging without kickback and cutting both forward and backward, I use it for demolition and would not attempt to use it for precise cutting because I lack the steadiness of hand to produce unwavering straight cuts that are also vertical. It excels at certain kinds of demolition, e.g. demolishing items that have broad flat surfaces such as doors. Unlike a Sawzall type saw, this saw produces no vibration and is therefore more pleasant to use. In contrast to a Sawzall, its cuts are shallow, an inch at most. It would be far more useful if it had a 7.5" blade diameter. Furthermore, its usefulness would be greatly increased if it included a removable base plate and could accommodate a fence attachment. Neverthekess, for what it is, it is excellent. Even in demolition, the clean edges, both top and bottom are very welcome, greatly reducing the chance for injury from splinters. Five stars for what it is, three stars because of its too small blade diameter and the lack of accommodation for a baseplate and fence. Average is four stars.
