This is a HUGE car. I love it and it is FAST! I was looking forward to the famous horn sound, but it repeats it so often (and three times for each time it is set off), that we had to disconnect it :(

Don't pay over 45.00 for it!

Wow! I'm thirty-three years old but I feel like a ten-year-old kid when I'm cruising this thing up and down the street! It's just so cool.

The chrome is beautiful and the car is highly, accurately detailed. The only inaccuracy I could detect is the fact that it sports two mirrors (General Lee had only the one on the driver's side) and they seem too close to the body of the car--probably done so they don't break off when you skim a curb. The wheels are independently sprung and the car has a very nice suspension. Although durable with its impact-absorbing large bumper (the cow catcher is built into the bumper), it's not indestructible. I broke the cow catcher off when I hit the curb at full speed (in fairness, I had struck it SEVERAL times before it finally gave up). The "Dixie" horn is built into the car, with the button on the side of the controller.

Unfortunately, the horn sounds THREE TIMES every time you hit the button. Once would have sufficed.

The controller is huge. There's no reason for it to be as big as it is. It also takes something like eight AA batteries and has a very long telescoping antenna. Given all this, it's surprising that the car can outrun the controller's range.

Overall, the car is a GREAT toy and an absolute blast!
