If you have seen the television ads where Duracell advertises that NASA uses their batteries and shake your head in disbelief you are partially right and partially wrong. The Procell battery is exactly the battery that NASA uses for their applications in space and on the ground, not the coppertop or the ultra. These batteries are professional, top of the line disposable batteries that hold their charge longer and can survive more extreme temperature changes than any retail store bought battery. They are also IDEAL for flashlights as they will put out a much brighter light than anything else that can be bought in stores. Highly recommended!

These Procell batteries are very long lasting and I did a price comparison and it is the best bang for your buck. They advertise a 5 year shelf life that I cannot speak to. They come packed very well from the factory in heavy boxes that will hold up well until you use all of them. I highly recommend this battery due to the fact it is long lasting is a very good buy. Thank you Amazon for a win win situation for customers.For my money you cannot buy a better battery and it comes in all the popular sizes,AA,AAA,C,D and 9 volt. I use all of them. I have read on the internet this is the only battery that NASA will use do to its reliability.

These were less expensive than the D batteries down at the dollar store. They lasted almost twice as long in a side-by-side comparison in two tent fans.

A few months back I bought a 12 pack of these batteries for my trail cameras (size D). In order to verify the claims that these batteries will out perform the standard "Copper-tops" I setup a test. I setup two identical trail cameras next to each other for several months. These cameras sat out in snow storms, rain storms, rising and falling temps, and even a heat wave. During this time they both took hundreds of great photos of wildlife. So aside from having 2 cameras taking the same exact photos I have an pretty impressvie result. The Procell batteries out last the Coppertops by 4 weeks! The Battery life meter said that there was 16% life left on the Procells when the Coppertops were found dead. I just placed an order for a few more packs of these! Great product!

I was a bit concerned after reading reports of tattered packaging and roughed-up batteries. The box of Procell D's that I received was sealed and in good shape. The batteries were dated March 2017 and all looked new. A small corner dent on the product box appeared to have been due to the box flopping around inside the shipping box with some other items. I also bought some Procell AA batteries at the same time. The AAs were in a sealed box and in good shape. I would recommend this Amazon partner for good products and very competitive pricing. I will buy from them again.

I was so excited to find such a great deal on D batteries, especially on the Duracell brand, but they have not performed well. I bought them solely to use in my baby swing, but they only last 2 weeks in there. Compared to Rayovac and Duracell Coppertop that's half as long, as these other two will last me a month. I guess you get what you pay for.

These batteries have held up well in Maglite flashlights that see occasional heavy use as well as other applications in camping equipment.

These batteries last longer than any other battery I've used. They were used in my twins' swing. This swing gets very heavily used, probably close to 6 or 8 hours a day! With these batteries the swing was able to function for at least two weeks (probably closer to three, but I don't remember the exact date I put them in). Other D batteries in the swing have lasted barely a week with our usage. They're worth the price if you ask me!

I'm always skeptical about claims of long life in batteries. Like most consumers, I'm pretty tired of having to buy and replace batteries nearly constantly. D cells just don't seem to be very popular in the rechargeable market, so when we needed to buy a swing for our baby girl, my husband and I both just sighed and resigned ourselves to yet another device which requires constant battery replacement. I purchased these and I am more than pleasantly surprised. While the batteries that came with the swing lasted about 2 weeks, these have been in the swing for 6 weeks now and haven't needed replacement yet. The swing is showing no signs of slowing down, and that is a very good thing!

They also aren't much more expensive than other batteries, and are certainly less expensive here than even regular batteries at an electronics store.

These are awesome batteries, and a very good buy.

Earlier reviews said that the seller was shipping dead or leaking batteries, so I checked the box that I received. All of the batteries were dated March 2017 and tested at 1.62 volts.

It feels like something is moving inside if you vigorously shake these batteries. Maybe these batteries are wet cells or multi cells.

This price on the Duracell brand is comparable to no-name batteries. I will update this review if these batteries run short.
