There's no real 2-disk version of the DVD. The Blu-ray/DVD combo pack includes extended dance scenes and a "Dance play mode" where the dance scenes are basically played back to back. The DVD that comes with the combo pack only includes a "Backstage on Magic Mike" featurette, which is a short making-of thing. That's all the standard DVD includes. I'd buy the combo pack, if you have a Blu-ray player. The extended dance scenes are worth it.
There's a "movie only" Blu-ray. Don't get that one. Get the combo pack.
So the only way to view the deleted scenes on a DVD is on a Blu-ray player? Making out the Christmas list and want to make sure. And that would majorly suck. Why would they do that? So many people don't own Blue-ray players. As soon as I walked out of the theater I was looking forward to the extended dance scenes! Thanks in advance for the clarification.
