I have a vga/dvi monitor and I always felt like I was not getting the best out of my monitor using the VGA connection. I saw how inexpensive these cables were and read reviews and articles about how there is no improved performance in name brand cables over generic ones when it comes to the cables transmitting digital content. (e.g. Fiber Optic) I received the cable and hooked it up with no problems. After messing with the resolution settings, I finally ended up with a picture quality that seemed sharper and brighter. At this price, I recommend these cables to anyone who wants to make the switch to a DVI connection.

I would not hesitate to buy one of these cables. I purchased a $70 dollar cable at Office Depot, and then found this online. Amazon had it to me a few days later, and I returned the overpriced cable to Office Depot. This cable works just as well, I notice no different in performance or connection. Go ahead and get one!

A cable is a cable. whether you throw down $5 or a $100 for a digital cable it doesn't matter. This cables' quality is stunning to say the least, and it is just as good as the expensive ones. Don't get conned into squandering away your money on fancy cables. These are recession times.

No need to buy those expensive cables at the retail stores. This cable for the price is a great buy. It is of decent quality and delivers just as good an image as the higher priced ones.

I am using it for about a month now. The picture clarity is noticeably better that VGA cable I was using before. I think with digital connection, there is no need of using really high quality and expensive cable. A simple cable like this can do the job just as well.

Very good cable and cheap on price,just what I needed to hook up my flat screen monitor.

I purchased a screen which didn't come with a DVI cable. I purchased this cable and it has been working great for about a month. I have a great deal of experience with computers (over 20 years) and have set up numerous LCDs with and without DVI cables, and this cable works just as well as the $20-$50 ones.

So aside from the "pay more and support better paying jobs here" dilemma that one always face when purchasing almost anything nowadays, I do recommend this to anyone looking for an inexpensive cable that does what it's supposed to do (and it does it well).

It's very long, it works.

I plugged it into my computer and into my new LCD monitor, and it worked without any problem.

I have a little extra cord now, but that might be good if I ever choose to move my screen away from my CPU.

Oh, and if you were wondering, Male to Male is what you need to connect a computer to a monitor. You only need a Male to Female, to extend the length, if you already have a Male to Male DVI plug.

Pros:

-Has all of the pins needed (some other cables have fewer pins)
-Worked out of the box
-Simple packaging (plastic bag)

Cons:
-No manual (but I don't think one is really needed)
-Six feet might be a little too long

Cables are always over priced. I saw this one for under $3 and thought to give it a try. It is of the same quality as the cables that came with my other monitors, and does the job. Why pay $15 to $40 for some wire and 2 connectors? The shipping is a bit high, but still for a total of $10, I can't complain.

PROS-

I bought it for my new "mac MINI" to hook it up with my "GATEWAY" LCD monitor from my old PC. IT worked perfectly fine and product has nice finish and color to it. I like it and more over its affordable as normal price on stores is around 35$ + tax ,, I got it under 10 $ with shipping. thanks"

CONS-

IT do not come in white color and looks different from other mac cables as its black..


STILL WORKS AND MAKES ME HAPPY CAMPER ....
