This review is from: DVM Pharmaceuticals Derm Cap 10's Regular Strength For Cats and Minature Breeds (Misc.)
My "baby", Tank, is a pomeranian with some type of seasonal allergies. Short of putting him through all the horrible skin tests, I decided to try dietary supplements to see if we could find improvement.

These Derm Caps seem to really be helping. They supply a good dose of healthy oils into the dog's system to help with topical skin issues. I'm guessing they will also help him from developing joint issues as well.

We've discontinued the high-powered drugs the vet prescribed for him. Now I give him these Derm Caps year-round. During the allergy season (for him, beginning in about May and going through the fall)I follow my vet book dosages and give him regular 'people' benadryl based on the number of mgs recommended for his weight.

These tactics keep him relatively comfortable during the tough allergy days. When he scratches himself enough to cause little patches though, I just apply benadryl topical spray.
