Not nearly as easy to enter recipes as old Betty Crocker program. Instructions are poor.

We purchased a cd to use this program a year ago. Struggled with the bad user interface to enter in a lot of recipes. Now it starts telling us we only have a trial version and to activate our copy at an additional cost of $75.00! Trying for support using the online system and e-mail yields no response. Calling their toll free number gets a can't connect. Calling their local Utah number gets voice mail saying to keep costs down, use their web site and e-mail with no option to ever speak to a live person. Total ripoff.

Long ago the Betty Crocker cooking suite was available in Mastercook SIERRA ATTRACTIONS MasterCook Complete Suite Feat. Betty Crocker (Windows) format. This was, and is, a wonderful cookbook collection. You can import and export recipes easily. You could also make grocery lists with ease.

Enter the DVO version of the Betty Crocker cookbook collection. This one is updated and includes cookbooks such as Easy Family Dinners, Cake Mix cookbook, bread machine cookbook and a Bisquick cookbook. The recipes look varied and delicious.

Unfortunately the ease of using this program is not as good. No right clicks here to make a shopping list. Instead you have to follow a much more complicated routine to get the list made. Also, you can not view the recipe and recipe photo at the same time.

Pluses: You can import Mastercook and Meal Master recipes. You can export text files for ease of reading.
