I purchased this to protect/carry my Sony FX930 DVD player. It is way too big. The width has about extra 4" and doesn't hold the dvd player in place. Amazon needs to change the name of this product, clearly it's not made for the Sony FX930. This item is going back to Amazon, don't waste your money.

Dimension of Sony FX930: 9" width and 6 1/2" length.

Dimension of this case: 12" width and 9" length. But when you open it the total length would be 18"

Therefore, with the DVD player open the total length of player is 13", the case gives you extra 5"

Not recommended at all.

this came well packed with in a resonable period of time it did not fit the dvd player which is not their fault if I remember it was not deep enough

This portable dvd player works with such clarity and I can even set it on my workout elliptical machine in a plastic holder it doesn't move I can study a DVD and work out hard and it stays steady! Clear picture great sound!

We bought this along with a Sony DVD player, and it fits really well. The padding is great and the handles & zippers are sturdy. I would very quickly recommend this case for anyone buying a DVD player that fits with it. We took ours on a plane ride to Hawaii and it made for some real peace of mind when I had to send the thing off through security at LAX, that's for sure!

Great for protection but you will need to purchase another case just to carry DVD player accessories and DVD's for viewing
