Theprinter is compatible with both Macintosh and PC systems, and directlysupports Goldmine, ACT, Outlook, and Word. Other programs may be accessedthrough standard print drivers. Connectivity is supplied through either aUSB or RS-232 serial port. Weighing barely over 1 pound, this pint-sizedprinter requires little desk space. The product does exactly what it says it is going to do, it simplifies making those damm labels for all your outgoing mail. My law firm finds it says time by not having to repeat address entries for our mailings. It saves money by not burning out our ink cartridges on our printer. Very easy to set up and run from your computer in minutes via the serial port, although I did have a problem setting it up with a USB cable line.

It not only makes labels from Word and other MicroSoft programs, it makes labels as a stand-alone feature. nothing works more transparently. We own 5 at our office.
