The Good: The crib rocks very nicely.
Dean M.
The rolling wheels are great for moving it from room to room, and the crib is small enough to fit just at the end of our bed for ease of middle-of-the-night feedings.
Amanda J Congdon
My daughter is one year old, still sleeps in the crib and has plenty of room.

I'm surprised other reviewers haven't commented on how wonderful the rocking feature is for young babies. We had a Co-Sleeper for our first child but were given this mini crib for our second. What an upgrade! When DD was a newborn, this crib saved me 30-50% of night wakenings. We kept the crib next to the bed and if she started fussing I could stick out one finger and gently rock the crib to get her back to sleep without even opening my eyes. Also, our first child was hard to get to sleep and after 30-45 minutes of soothing and rocking chair he would finally fall asleep only to wake up as we transfered him into the co-sleeper. If we had had this crib, we could have rocked him to sleep right in the crib with no transfer to wake up from! My daughter is one year old, still sleeps in the crib and has plenty of room. Definitely get a 50-coil mattress to go with it.

This crib is sturdy and very easy to roll from room to room. Goes thru conventional doorways with ease. Park baby anyplace that's handy for you to hear him/her. Has comfortably held baby up to nearly a year old. Can get thicker mattress if using every day. Lowers to different levels as baby gets larger/more mobile. It's quite attractive and takes up so much less space than a full size crib. Perfect if children are close in age and the older one isn't out of the crib, but a younger sibling comes along. You're good to go for almost an additional year.......... We used bumper pads with ours as soon as baby was scooting toward rails. Before baby could scoot - didn't use bumper pads because air circulation is so important for tiny ones. Easy to purchase mattress pads, bumper pads and sheets for - be sure to designate "mini crib" not portacrib. We love ours - one at baby's house and one at Grandma's house too. Easy to roll out of the way when not being used.

****UPDATE**** 1/24/2013:

-Our daughter just turned 13 months old and she still fits great! She is in the 50th percentile for weight at 20.5 lbs. and the 75th percentile for height at 30.25 inches. She is able to roll around (she moves a lot in her sleep) and isn't constricted by the size. We actually roll up light blankets to line the perimeter so that when she rolls she doesn't hit anything to hard and she still has plenty of room. We have had it set on the second from the bottom height setting (the lowest one hurts my bad back too much to get her in and out of it easily) and when she stands up there's still no way she could pull herself out (note- she isn't really climbing yet so I will update once she outgrows this.) Also, we only ended up using the amazing rocking feature while she was really small say till about the 4th month and then we needed it to be on the wheels more than the rocker setting (yes, this is a one-or-the-other type set-up!) We moved this thing cross-country in our Honda Civic and it held up great. Very happy with our purchase still and I know will be able to re-sell for a great price with my moms group.

Pros:
-perfect for small spaces i.e. apartment/efficiency living, small room, etc. (it was just a tad bit smaller than the Graco pack and play I was using as her bassinet.) A regular size crib is about the width of a full-size bed!!
-the rocking feature is absolutely amazing! It is usually hard to set her down without waking her up but if I start rocking the crib right after I put her down she stays asleep!

We bought this crib when my wife was pregnant, and our daughter is still sleeping in it at 19 months. We never did use the rocking feature, but left the wheels on full time so we could move it from room to room as needed. We have a relatively small house without a lot of open space to move or store things, and this crib is the perfect size for us.

We also bought the Crescent Mini-Crib Mattress, which is 6" thick, and we had trouble finding fitted sheets for it. Fortunately, we found the Gerber Brand Organic Crib Sheet, which is actually designed to be a full-size crib sheet, but all the reviews complained about how it was way too small. We bought a couple of them, washed them in hot, and they fit perfectly on the mini-crib mattress.

We also added the BreathableBaby Crib Bumper for Slatted Cribs as a crib liner. It's a thin, open mesh that allows for easy breathing as well as some visibility, but keeps little arms and legs from getting outside the crib through the slats during active sleeping.

Put all those together and we have loved our crib. The crib itself assembled easily, and the mattress platform has several height positions, so it can be set in a high position for use as a bassinet during the early months, then lowered as the baby grows to prevent crawling out over the rails. It's been durable and practical, and continues to look great even after 19 months of hard use.

We bought this crib for our little girl because we live in a one bedroom apartment and did not have too much room for a big crib. We were so happy that we could find a sturdy good-looking crib that is pretty much the same size as a porta crib without that porta folding look and feel. We used it without the wheels on rocking mode for the first few months of the baby's life with the mattress up on the second height and wow it was amazing! The bassinet that we had didn't rock so when we finally made the switch it was a lifesaver. (next time we'll skip the bassinet all together).

So we have this crib in white and it looks adorable with the baby's pink and brown bedding set (in porta crib size) and is super comfy with the 80 coil thicker davinci mattress, definitely as comfortable as a regular crib. I notice people mentioned that they could not find the right sheet size but we bought cotton jersey sheets in a porta crib size and they stretch very nicely. We also got a nice mattress pad in a porta crib size that was marked "extra deep" which makes it even more comfortable.

Anyway, now our daughter is already one year old and in the 95th percentile of weight and height and is still using it. She stands up and bites on the teething rails which are great and she just loves being in it. We're planning on keeping it until she makes that move to her toddler bed. Definitely a great crib and the wheels make it super convenient.
