5.0 out of 5 stars Great crib at a great price!
My wife and I just finished putting this crib together. It took a total of 25 minutes start to finish. The instructions were extremely easy to follow. We bought this exact crib in honey oak 18 months ago for baby number one and it has worked so well, we ordered the same crib in white for baby number two. Our original crib is in the same great shape as when we first...

3.0 out of 5 stars One flaw
Our son is now 18months old and this crib has been amazing. Yes I agree that it does scratch easily but it is solid and very sturdy. Our only complaint is that the front rail that curves out to the front of the crib has a gap just wide enough for our son to stick his arm into and get it stuck. Now that he is starting to try to put his leg over the crib it gets stuck in...

5.0 out of 5 stars Great crib at a great price!, January 22, 2007
My wife and I just finished putting this crib together. It took a total of 25 minutes start to finish. The instructions were extremely easy to follow. We bought this exact crib in honey oak 18 months ago for baby number one and it has worked so well, we ordered the same crib in white for baby number two. Our original crib is in the same great shape as when we first put it together. The only adjustments we have done, where to lower the mattress support heights from higher to lower. Even that process only took a matter of minutes. I have read crib purchase reviews where the box arrived extremely beat up. When ours arrived the outside of the box was a little rough, but the crib pieces inside are very well packed, padded, and wrapped and there was not a scratch on the white finish. The super saver free shipping arrived at our door 6 days from date of purchase. I have never wrote a review for an online purchase before, but we are so pleased with our two cribs that I wanted to pass on a very positive message to those who may be comtemplating buying this crib.
P.S. I'm a physician and this crib could not be any safer...no solid side walls or backing...just the well spaced rounded slates all the way around and no moving parts

Our son is now 18months old and this crib has been amazing. Yes I agree that it does scratch easily but it is solid and very sturdy. Our only complaint is that the front rail that curves out to the front of the crib has a gap just wide enough for our son to stick his arm into and get it stuck. Now that he is starting to try to put his leg over the crib it gets stuck in there too. We have since moved him to a toddler bed but the arm getting stuck has been an ongoing thing since he was alittle past 12 months old. Other than that we love the crib and plan on using it for all of our babies, though we may make our own alterations on it to prevent our 3 month old from going through the same thing with getting his arm stuck.

If you do have this crib always remember to keep your monitor on and loud enough to where you can hear the cries if a little arm gets stuck.

4.0 out of 5 stars Easy Assembly, December 19, 2008

We bought our crib in 2007, here is a short video of me assembling it. The wood is a bit soft (dings easily), but overall I'm impressed with it. Don't forget to get the changing table, unless you think trips to the chiropractor are cheap.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Crib but White Finish Chips, February 11, 2007
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
We purchased this crib in white and love it - very stable, sturdy and beautiful. The only problem was that the white finished was delivered chipped (pretty severely) in several noticeable areas. Naturally our concern was that our baby would chew on these pieces and ingest the paint chips. Had to reorder the crib three times to get enough pieces to create one that looks very nice and new. Packing really isn't all that great. Am sure that is not the case with the wood finishes. Ordered through Amazon and they were great working with us until we were happy. For the price - this is a great product and would recommend it. Not many cribs that are this sturdy offer a toddler and full-size bed conversion. Am confident that this crib will work perfectly once our little one arrives.

4.0 out of 5 stars cute and good price, February 5, 2007
We just ordered this crib last weekend and have already received it and put it together. It looks really great. However, when we received the box from UPS, it looked terrible and we were really afraid that the crib would be damaged. It looks fine, although we did have to touch up a few places with a stain pen. I would recommend that you inspect each piece carefully before putting the crib together. Also, the directions that came with the crib said nothing about the washers that were included in the hardware. We just sort of had to figure out to use them with the bolts. SO, if you order this crib and it comes with washers, don't forget to put them in, because the directions won't tell you to! We were impressed by how fast the crib arrived and the free shipping was great too. It wasn't terribly difficult to put together, pretty sturdy, and I would say it was worth what we paid for it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sturdy, nice looking crib, May 14, 2008
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I was concerned about purchasing a crib with a stationary (static) rail. I have read reviews on other cribs in which people complained of the difficulty reaching over the front rail to get the baby. That is not the case with this crib. The front rail is roughly 34"H. I have absolutely no problem getting my son in and out & I have the mattress on the lowest setting. I also had no problem attaching a mobile to this crib.(back or sides work)The crib is a pretty cherry color and seems very sturdy. A good deal for the price. To top it all off...it was available with SuperSaver Shipping. The crib arrived in 2 days! The manufacturer is located in So Cal....lucky me.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good for the price, add varnish if you can., September 18, 2009

This crib is bigger than standard size, it lists the dimensions but doesn't explicitly say that. For that reason I got the matching DaVinci mattress as well. The crib does scratch easily but that's because it's made out of Pine, a softer than ideal wood, as well as having a really thin layer of varnish. Because of the reviews that said it scratches easily I decided to give it two more coats of water based polyurethane before using it. This greatly improved it's durability. Of course you could just refinish it in a couple of years when it's all scratched up but it's a lot easier to just add some coats on when you get it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice crib. Good value., July 5, 2007
We got this convertible crib for our two year old son who was ready to move into a bed. Since we thought a standard bed was too high off of the floor, we went with this crib since it converts to a toddler bed (and, eventually to a full-size bed) with a low mattress setting and partial rail to protect them from rolling out. It was everything we had hoped for! Since it's "crib-like" the transition was seamless. This is definitely not top notch furniture, though. Probably not something that you'd be able to keep for your grandkids. It's a softer wood and scratches easily (more noticeable with a darker stain), but, it is a great value. It is a sturdy and nice looking crib. I would recommend this crib to my friends.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love the crib, February 28, 2007
I spent hours online and in stores comparing cribs for my grandson. Was very hesitant to purchase something this big online, especially after reading some reviews about it coming damaged, but when I saw the price, and cheap shipping, I figured it was worth a try. I am so glad I did. The crib arrived in time, in perfect shape, packed very secure, with not a scratch. The directions were easy to follow, all the parts were included, and we had it up in about an hour. (Even for two old grandparents.) My daughter spent almost $500 on her crib, and I think this one is more sturdy and better looking. Haven't had the chance to put our little guy in it yet, but so far I believe we will be very happy with it. I do plan on getting the round teether covers for the top rails, since I don't want him scratching it up with his teeth! Would recommend it to anyone, especially at this price.

We just received our product yesterday. With the free shipping offer and no tax, we got it 2 days later! After opening up and installing today, I was impressed with the quality and finish of the wood. All the parts and holes were good for us. The crib looks great. I like the fact our baby can grow with the bed. We ordered the extension as well. I will definately buy from this company again. Fast shipping, and great quality.
