Beauty is only skin deep...,

This crib is beautiful, and a nice price. I am soooo thankful that I bought it for our 2nd and LAST baby - I think it is made out of balsa wood (except for the structural parts). It is sturdy - I'm not worried that it will collapse with my son in it, but it is so "fragile" anything that comes within an inch of it seems to leave a huge gash. My first son had a jenny lind from this company and it was MUCH hardier. It made 2 moves and I just sold it looking as new as the day I bought it. The Roxanne crib has never been used (baby due in a month) and I have it draped with blankets for fear it will be all dinged up by the time he's born! Cute, but not a great investment for those intending to have more than one child, unfortunately!
