This model Dacor has had a well-documented problem for YEARS: the LCD touch-panel display will quit working. I bought two of these (for two kitchen areas in my house) and they BOTH failed with this exact same problem. Parts and repair are about 3/4 the cost of the original unit. If you research this model on the Internet you will find this problem is very common and has been ongoing for years. This product should NOT be on the market, and Dacor / Sharp (Sharp makes Dacors) should be investigated by consumer organizations and the Better Business Bureau for continuing to sell a product with a known defect. DO NOT BUY THIS MICROWAVE, it WILL fail on you.
