Ah, the sweet, comforting vocals of James Taylor! When the man sings it warms my heart. Although most won't consider this his definative album. For me it was my first full-length album experience of JT and as such it remains my favorite. Even after all these years (I was in high school when this came out!) it still doesn't fail to stir and entertain me. Several of my favorite songs by JT are on this album. I think "London Town" and "That Lonesome Road" are superb closers and are my favorite cuts. "Sugar Trade" and "Only for Me" are close behind. "Summer's Here" and "Hard Times" are wonderful as well. Please don't think that the hit "Her Town Too" is the only worthy cut and dismiss this being added to your JT collection. Plus the price is very reasonable. I would have paid three times the amount for this on CD. This is one not to miss!

Some very poignant songs on this one. Not for a blue day!,

Excellent CD but considering why it was written and some of the lyrics it isn't one I'd choose when I was feeling down. Love the album...don't get me wrong, but it's a blues feeling album.
