Not feeling like himself, Dad decides to spend the day as a dinosaur dad, bounding off to school with his son Mikey, eating pizza for dinner, being read to, and teaching Mikey something about the demands of fatherhood.
When I was two years old my mother caught me scribbling on the wall of my bedroom. She made sure to supply me with plenty of crayons and paper, and I've been scribbling ever since, both writing and illustrating children's books.
To date I have illustrated over fifty published books for children, and three of my own stories have been published. I feel blessed to be doing the thing I've dreamed about since I was a child, and I hope to continue creating stories and illustrations for a long time to come.
In addition to working on children's stories, I enjoy gathering with Christian friends to study and worship God, reading, watching movies and eating out with my husband, Walter, getting together with my two grown daughters, Leana and Melanie, practicing tai chi and exercising, gardening, and enjoying the beautiful surroundings here in southwest Virginia. Oh, and cuddling my cats, Holly and Pepper. Can't forget the kitties.
