Book Description

April 1, 1991
Published 1991 as Silhouette Desire: When cold, hard systems-warrior Maxwell Van Damme (44) does a reorganize-systemize favor for J.D. MacLean, he isn't expecting J.D.'s sister-in-law, Irish Dalton.

Freestyle, loving, nurturer Irish owns Abagail's House (named after a madame), a country inn, ranch and spa. Her business system (1 apple-shaped cookie jar and 1 shoebox) and free passes to those in financial distress unnerves Max. And Irish isn't happy about Max set to re-do her caring kingdom...

When he steps into protect her that first night at the inn, it only takes one kiss... Then Max beats first-night baby-odds and he's set for a take-over...

More About the Author

Cait London is my latest pseudonym; previous was Cait Logan, and I'm thrilled when people remember my other writing persona. After 20+ years in publishing best sellers, I've received awards and have written in almost all of the romance subgenres (series, historical, paranormal, etc.), and a hefty amount of those were in Desires, including the Tallchiefs. More info at my website and blog, an enewsletter is available at caitlondon-subscribe@yahoogroups.com. I'm probably best known for small town secrets, characterization and twists and am a member of several writing groups. I am currently researching new projects/novels.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Daddy Candidate, May 20, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Daddy Candidate (Silhouette Desire, No 641) (Paperback)
Loved this book, I have read it several times and each time i have laughed as much as the first time. It's nice to see a strong hero taken down by morning sickness.
