With all the variety of the books available nowadays, it's still surprisingly hard to find a perfect daddy-baby book. Some books are just for a baby boy/girl specifically, others are lacking good pictures or words.
"Daddy Loves Me" strikes a perfect balance with charming pictures of daddy and baby having fun and doing things together; the words are easy to remember and repeat. I bought this book as a Father's Day gift for my husband right after we found out we were pregnant last year. Since my daughter was born, I've read this book to her. As she grows (now, 10 months), she reaches for this book over others. Now, I put it in her crib to entertain her when she wakes up too early. It allows me a little extra shut-eye, and she loves to sit, look at the pictures, and say, "Dada." It's wonderful and seems to be a book that will last.
