With all the variety of the books available nowadays, it's still surprisingly hard to find a perfect daddy-baby book. Some books are just for a baby boy/girl specifically, others are lacking good pictures or words.

"Daddy Loves Me" strikes a perfect balance with charming pictures of daddy and baby having fun and doing things together; the words are easy to remember and repeat.
It would make a great present for Father's Day, no doubt!

I bought this book as a Father's Day gift for my husband right after we found out we were pregnant last year. Since my daughter was born, I've read this book to her. As she grows (now, 10 months), she reaches for this book over others. Now, I put it in her crib to entertain her when she wakes up too early. It allows me a little extra shut-eye, and she loves to sit, look at the pictures, and say, "Dada." It's wonderful and seems to be a book that will last.

Daddy loves me is a board book all about daddies and how they love their infants and toddlers. The rhyming text is accompanied by bright, full-color photographs of dads and children having fun together at home, at the seaside, at the playground, and in the bath. The wonderful photography of happy fathers and children is guaranteed to bring a smile to your face, and captures the powerful bond between dads and their children.

The book is brief, with coated board pages and a padded, easy-to-clean vinyl cover, so it is a great first book for sharing with infants or very young children and a good gift for new fathers.

I just bought this book as a Father's Day gift for my future son-in-law, who is expecting his first baby this summer. It is the perfect gift for a father to read to his young child...boy or girl! I was looking for a children's book to give for Father's Day, but many of them were obviously about a dad and daughter or dad and son. This one is perfect either way! The photography is sweet and truly captures the special moments between a new dad and his baby/toddler. I also love that there were a mix of babies photographed (white, black, asian, hispanic.) The rhymes are short and sweet...perfect for a short attention span (of both daddy and baby!) and the board book pages and padded cover ensure that it will be read many times!! Highly recommended!

I bought this book so that my boyfriend could feel included when reading stories to our 8 month-old. Most of the books we have are centered around mom and baby, so I wanted to get a special book for them to share. I am so HAPPY I made this purchase. It is a lovely little book with sweet images that celebrates the bond between baby and daddy. Do not hesitate to buy it. It would be even more touching as a surprise gift.

I got this a few months ago for my 18 month old daughter. She instantly loved it because it has pictures of babies with their daddies. She loves her daddy will just flip through the book 3-4 times in a row looking at the pictures and pointing to each child and dad. They have several ethnicities in the book too, which is nice. Whenever my husband has to work late and can't be home for her bedtime routine, we read this book together.

My 14-month-old loves this book. If we can't find it at naptime, we have to hunt through the whole house to locate it, and he often requests that I read it twice before he'll lay down and take his nap. I'm going to order the Mommy one too.
