Review

We have accepted [Daddy's Home] for use in the Military Child Education Coalition's trainings and for our favorites book list. Congratulations! --Mary M. Keller, Ed.D., President and CEO, Military Child Education Coalition

I just read your book and think it is excellent! It is the only book for children/parents that really confronts the challenges for kids about homecoming in a forthright manner... Thank you for your wonderful work. --Judith Broder, M.D., Founder and Director of the Soldier's Project

Wow. I had tears in my eyes reading this book. I work with returning Veterans. However, my husband is in the National Guard and is currently in Iraq for his second tour. We have an 8 year old son and this book touched me greatly. --A.S. Ferris, RN MSN OEF/OIF Nurse Case Manager

As a 43yo daughter of a Viet Nam Veteran, tears came to my eyes as I read this book. It was like reliving my childhood with my Dad who suffered from PTSD after serving for one year as a gunner on a Medevac. I wish back then someone would have realized not only that he needed help but his children did as well. This book is straightforward and will help children of Veterans of all ages. I highly recommend it and hope it helps the thousands of children that have parents serving in the military.

Very good story, well told. Great illustrations and a story you can read over. I thought it was a little priced a little high for what it is, possibly meaning those it would really help cannot access it.
