I read the first three chapters then set it aside. I don't disagree with his advice and it may be valid for some, but for me a book of advice needs a moral basis beyond one's own experience. This book appears to be based entirely on the author's personal experience and opinion. He may have some good points but He's not the guy I want my daughter taking advice from. If you want to give advice to your daughter(s), examine your beliefs and write your own letter. It will mean more to them.

I did read this a while ago, but I distinctly remember thinking it was sexist and terrible. I'm sure there was some decent advise in there but I couldn't get past the tone enough to care what he was saying.
