Dr. Dae has done a great job of compiling healthy whole foods recipes that are simple and inexpensive. I have recommended this book to patients, friends and family members, and they have all learned something about both cooking and shopping. Trying one new recipe each week from this book will really help you to build your spice rack. Dr. Dae provides recipes for all seasons in this compact spiral "kitchen friendly" book. I love it and use it to feed my own family as well.

First, I have to say how exciting it is to have an easy to use guide offering healthy food that make your tastebuds happy in a stress free way!! I was amazed at how easy the dishes are to prepare and how little time they take. I especially love that the book has icons identifying each recipie with specific designations allowing users to quickly and easily figure out which dishes are best for them based on their health requirements/issues (e.g. vegan, wheat free, dairy free, good for blood sugar balancing, etc.). Also, the sample menus based on these designations are also super helpful.

I gave a copy of this cookbook to a number of friends, family and co-workers for Christmas, and in spite of the other gifts I gave to each person as well, this cookbook was THE favorite item (as noted from the unprompted feedback and excitement they shared with me about it, while not mentioning the accompanying gifts)...a definite winner!

This cook book is fantastic - and a great way to eat healthy and smart! Dr Dae teaches about lots of fruits and veges where new to me - like spaghetti squash and bok choy. And has great recipes to boot! Yum Yum Yummy...and healthy!

I have worked with Dr. Dae for a number of years and continue to be impressed with her commitment to
healthy living and with the extent of her knowledge on nutrition and health. In my working with Dr. Dae, I have personally seen her offer encouragement and support to people living with life-threatening illness, nurturing with her Daeliciously prepared meals as well as offering practical advice on ways to modify eating habits to reflect a new way for us all to strive to be in the world - a world that increasingly requires us to live more intentionally, mindfully and compassionately. That said, her food is beyond wonderful, her recipes easy to
follow and economical to prepare- what a treasure she is !

This book is priced right for your own cooking library as well as for gifts. With a focus on easy to prepare healthy recipes, it's been a huge hit for anyone concerned about weight, blood pressure, saturated fat and finding side dishes to go with a variety of entrees. Two favorites of mine are the Poached Pears and the Collard Greens.

I'm trying to lose weight in `08 and I got really sick of just eating broccoli and spinach. Dr. Daemon Jones's book has provided me with tasty new recipes for a variety of vegetables. For example, I hated brussel sprouts as a kid, but recently bought some and then had NO idea how to cook them. Loved Dr. Jones's "Basic Brussell Sprouts"! Also loved the sweet potato stir fry (w/ black beans and bok choy). Can't wait to try more!

I saw Dr. Daemon Jones prepare her "get your groove on Greens" on a local television show. The recipe was quite different from the Greens that I prepare, and sounded much healthier. I'm always looking for healthy recipes, so I decided to purchase Daelicious! Recipes for Vibrant Living. This is an excellent resource for losing weight, because the dishes are low in calories and saturated fat.
The vegetarian chili recipe is my FAVORITE. Who knew that chili without meat would be so tasty and filling??!!??

I had the opportunity to hear Dr. Jones speak at my children's school on the importance of healthy eating. I decided to try the recipes because I have a child who would opt for anything that is not green, other than broccoli. I was amazed that the entire family enjoyed all three recipes that I chose from the book. The children asked for seconds!

I have not received my cookbook yet, but I have tried some of Dr. Jones recipes from her newsletter in the past. As promised by the book title, Dr. Jones' recipes are daelicious. I have two small children and a slightly finicky husband, so I am always looking for recipes that will satisfy a trio of palates. I can't wait to get my cookbook so that I can incorporate more daelicious recipes into my cooking repertoire. My family and I want to live VIBRANTLY! Thanks Dae for caring about our tummies and our health.
