The PT-1901 sets up and programs in a snap. Easy-to-navigate onscreen displays enable you to engage its programming functions and fully enjoy this set's features. Among these, the PT-1901 offers sleep and wake-up timers as well as an auto shutoff timer for your late-night viewing sessions.

Added programming features include video settings, such as contrast or color, that let you customize the PT-1901's picture. Hassle-free auto channel programming easily sets the channel memory to your local stations. All onscreen programming controls also feature multilingual (English, Spanish, French) display options for added convenience.

The PT-1901 comes with a single rear-mounted RF input that accepts a 75-ohm coaxial video input from a VCR, satellite dish, or cable box. This input also works with antennas that use single coaxial leads and cable feeds that don't require cable boxes. (Other antenna types, cable systems, or video equipment--like DVD players--may require optional accessories.)

The remote control is straightforward: palm size and easy to use. It features a channel-recall button and a mute feature that engages a built-in decoder to display a program's closed-captioned dialogue without requiring an external decoder.

The parental control feature lets you blocks different programs according to TV guidelines, movie ratings, and even a setting for unrated material that lets you choose whether to block all programs that don't have TV or movie ratings.

This unit is a great value that delivers quality viewing with a host of convenient options and ease of use. While this unit is not for the videophile and does not offer advanced program features and inputs, it delivers all the basics and then some.

Produced by parent company Daewoo, this unit is covered by a warranty for two years on the picture tube, one year on other parts, and 90 days on labor.

A good set for the money, but if you're looking for a portable tv to play game consoles on, this probably isn't the one. Primarily because of the absence of A/V jacks. You will have to invest in a RF adapter and your expensive game console will lose some audio and video strength through the signal translation.

I've had my Daowoo 19" Color TV (similiar model) for 8 years now and it still works great. No bells or whistles, just decent color and rececption. The only tweak I had to do was an antena replacement. I actually got it on sale for less then the price offered. I highly recommend it.

For the price paid, this is an excellent product. Easy to use with a clear, sharp picture. The set-up was easy including the use of the remote. I would highly recommend the product for an inexpensive purchase. A geat buy for the price with good quality.
