Northstar delivered this DVD player within days. Had absolutely no trouble plugging it in. Plays all our DVDs (US and European) without difficulty. Picture quality is the same as our $150 Samsung DVD/VHS combo produces. Why pay more?

Over the years I purchased a number of DVDs while visiting European countries and could only watch them on my computer screen - something that was not very convenient when I wanted to show a DVD to several people at the same time. This Daewoo region-free international Pal/NTSC DVD player has solved this problem forever. It was extremely easy to set up, it reads my international DVDs without any problem, and the picture is clear and sharp. Delivery was remarkably fast and the price is hard to beat! I highly recommend this purchase!

I've been searcing for a reliable little Region-Free player for years but the prices were always outrageous. Apart from the low price, this little machine takes up little to no room, and took about 30 seconds to set up. Now I can play all my Asian DVD's with no worries. I'm VERY satisfied.

I highly recommend the purchase of this product. Its performance has been perfect. It hooked up easily and allowed me to watch a region 4 DVD here in the USA. The shipping was very timely. I like the remote control layout. Perfect from A to Z.

This Daewoo product arrived in first class order, promptly. It was installed easily and works perfectly. The playing of Dvds from different regions is done automatically. The user has to do absolutely nothing - except put the Dvd into the playing 'tray'.
Of course, the true worth of any mechanical/electrical equipment is if it performs as well, after a period of time, as it did to start with. One hopes this Daewoo product will.

Pretty good buy. I just played PAL films from Spain (Rocio Durcal & Marisol) as well as a regular DVD film FUNNY GIRL with Streisand. They played well. I am impressed.

It came in quick, and it works very well. It was a good buy!

I purchased this for my daughter, this way she can watch movies from other countries, it was easy to hook up and works great.

All in all this was probably the best purchase I have ever made from Amazon.

I had just returned from traveling overseas where I had purchased quite a few DVDs which were of course, not playable in our US DVD players due to the region codes. I spent a lot of time looking around for a player that was region free on other websites etc and ended up finding them for 200 dollars+. When I came across this one I decided to give it a shot since it was cheap. It works GREAT! It plays anything I put in it and has had absolutely zero problems since the day it came out of the box.

If you're looking for a region free player, I'd say snag this one.

I'm so happy,I received my Dvd fast,was able to track the delivery,the installation of my international DVD took 1minute and it work great,I would order again from the same compagnie for sure!!!
