I bought this on Amazon for my office computer at work because I was sick of the wired Microsoft mouse that is not the most responsive one I have ever used. I have to say that I am blown away by this mouse thus far. For less then $9, it is extremely responsive and accurate. I have had it for about a month now and it's never been turned off, but the crappy batteries included are still going strong. It goes into an auto-sleep mode after some inactivity and just needs a "click" to get started. The page forward and back buttons are awesome. They work very well and save a lot of time when browsing heavily. I have not paid much attention to the adjustable DPI, as it is not something I normally adjust. As for the the connection, my tower in under my desk and the wireless connection to the computer is rock-solid. This is a really great mouse!

UPDATE: In just a few short days, it'll be a year since I purchased this item. I use it everyday at work for roughly 4-5 hours and it has shown no signs of slowing down. If it broke down tomorrow I would look for another one on here just because of the price and quality.

UPDATE: 4/13/2014 This mouse is now over 2 years old and is still going strong! I still use it every day at work and while I've often thought of getting a wireless keyboard/mouse combo, I keep putting it off because I like this mouse so much. I have gone through 5 sets of batteries, plus the set that came with it, thus far.

Love the on-off button (when I can remember to use it!) because it extends battery life. The mouse really fits my hands well, and is very reactive. I had an old USB mouse from the dark ages (retractable cord!!) that finally croaked, and I decided to get a wireless one this time, like I use at work. This little guy was inexpensive, had 5 buttons, and was just CUTE, so I ordered it. I'm very pleased, and I highly recommend this little cutie!

The Daffodil WMS330 5-Button 2.4GHz Nano Wireless Mouse with DPI Adjustable, Webpage Backward and Forward Buttons and 2xAAA Batteries Included - Blue & Black is a great wireless mouse at a great price. The usb plug is so small you just leave it in your laptop, you'll hardly notice it's there. It has a great shape, fits nice and comfortably in my hand (my hands are small). I like the go back and forward buttons on the side, you have to be careful not to hit them though when you're not wanting to. It works about on any surface I've tried except glass. I usually use the arm of the couch or recliner, or the couch cushion, and even the bed (just have to make sure the blankets are smoothed out. The batteries keep a charge for quite a long time. I use rechargeables. It has an on/off switch on the bottom. If you forget to turn it off, or just aren't using it for a few minutes it will shut off to save battery life. I usually just give it a click and it comes back on. I have had the Daffodil WMS330 5-Button 2.4GHz Nano Wireless Mouse with DPI Adjustable, Webpage Backward and Forward Buttons and 2xAAA Batteries Included - Blue & Black since April and have had no problems with it at all. I have windows 7 and as soon as I plugged it in, it started installing. I will purchase it again if I need another one.

This is an update on this review. After having this mouse for 8 months, the left click started sticking. It only did this 3 times and hasn't done it since, which is about 2 weeks. When this happened I decided I better get another one for when this one stopped working completely.

Its pretty easy to use it came with batteries which is always a plus. Good solid mouse works on most surfaces and it was plug and play not much else to say buy it if you need a cheap wireless mouse.

I have had about six months now. The battery is still good after using it for school last spring and using it sporadically over the summer. I have never figured out a use for the 'cpi' button, but I haven't cared enough to look for drivers for the mouse either.

My big complaint is that it double or triple clicks (no matter which button you use) often making it making it very frustrating sometimes to use, depending on what you are doing. If I nailed down the problem to the mouse early on, I would have sent it back. A lot of the time I would be online so a double/triple click would not be noticeable if I was simply clicking on a link but a forward or back click would sometimes go more than one page forward or back. This quirk alone was not enough for me to catch on to the fact that the mouse was at fault early on since my I had just bought the used laptop I was using it on, and the installation and all the programs on it where newly installed. It's defect became very noticeable once I started playing games in the summer in which single and double clicking did completely different things.

I've bought 3 of these now. They work well and are cheaper than wired mice. The plastic shell can't handle too much. If it gets stepped on or dropped in a bag I would expect it to crack. So far I've been careful with mine.
The laser works very well. I've been able to use it on any surface except clear glass. The button positions and ergonomics work well for me.
