This is a toy? Do not buy!
on November 29, 2011
I bought 2 Vortex Spinners for my 6 and 8 year old boys birthday and couldn't believe they categorize this as a toy. It's a ball with face in some "spinner" that doesn't spin unless your an adult with big fingers. My 6 year old was on the verge of tears because he couldn't get it to spin and my 8 year old was bored within 60 seconds. I don't care how inexpensive a toy is, the manufacturer shouldn't be making and selling toys just because of a cool name and bizarre graphics. I never write reviews, but felt compelled with this one because I don't want other parents to waster their money on the Dagedar Vortex Spinner. I am hoping to prevent disappointed kids and frustrated parents on Christmas morning. If I had already purchased any of the spinners I would return them before giving as a present to any child. I understand toys can be simple and fun, my boys love their Gogos and Bayblade, which is essentially a fancy top.
