A really terrific bike. I use it mostly in an urban setting, which its perfect for. I'm 6' so it maybe a tad small for my frame, but not really noticeable. One size fits all is what it is. I love it and wouldn't trade it for a newer, high end, traditional bike. I just leave it in my suv and take it out when I need it, no matter where i am. Crisp shifting, great breaks, solid frame, comfy saddle, and more versatile than anything i've owned. Great compact bike for a commute, trip to the market, or to go to the gym (12 miles away). Highly recommended.

Words are simply not enough to describe how much my wife and I love these Dahon Mu P8's. We took a bike tour in Paris last spring with a company (Bike About Tours) that used Dahons. Fitted everyone perfectly. A great fun ride. We had not seen or experienced a Dahon folding bike before our trip. We liked them so much that I researched the bikes when we returned.

The Mu P8 seemed liked the perfect match so we ordered one from Brands Cycle of NY thru Amazon. Loved the bike and Brands' service so much that we quickly ordered a second one.

We live in Moab, Utah. My wife can carry her Dahon behind the rear seat of her MINI Cooper. I generally carry both of them in the rear of my FJ Cruiser. We have literally abandoned our other bikes that we had to carry on racks and usually didn't have them when we wanted them. We ride the Dahons on gravel roads and paved paths and have them with us whenever and wherever we care to go.

Had a problem with a cap that holds the pump in the seat tube and Brands cycle (really fine folks) rushed one off to me without question.

The Mu P8 is very well made. It really does take mere seconds to fold and store. It has polish, good looks, is tricked out by Dahon just right and just feels stylin' to ride. Dahon has front and rear racks available. They even have a luggage case.

We get all sorts of questions from people we meet and have probably sold a few.

Being that I had to give up my car, I needed an alternative set of wheels to get to and from work. The Dahon Mu P8 was that alternative. The Mu P8 is not on the super high end, and it's also not on the low end of the Dahon models. It's kind of in the middle of the pack. It's a pretty lite bike weighing around +/- 25 lbs. The bike is super stripped down with no fenders or bike rack (which some buyers might find as an issue), but I was fine with that. It has 8 gears which is beneficial for those who don't live in totally flat surfaced areas. The bike rides really nice. I'm really happy with my purchse.

Pros!
-Really nice and fast too.
-Very compact, folds really easy, less than 20 secs.
-Very adjustable, from seats, to handbars, ride however you like.
-The tires are good brand tires.
- Easy to assemble, unbox and its done! (except for peddles)
-Glad I got it on marked down before amazon raise price on me again.

Cons!
-Really dangerous if you havent ridden one of these(mini bikes before) before like me hehe.
-Tip of shoe can hit the floor if you dont peddle right.
-Bike turns really easy and I mean to easy. Dangerous too. ( Maybe need to adjust?)
-Pot holes, bumps, speedbumps, curbs can be really bad for this bike, afraid I'll ruin
the rims, I went off a curb on accident, scared me, small wheels cant really stand impact too much.
- Bike isnt good for people that like to be speeding like crazy, you can risk it if you like.
Peddle slow to be safe!

It is shipped in a dahon box, once you unpack it, its already put together,
just need to put on peddles and air up tires with air pump in seat. Make sure to
knock out the white bar, with black cap in seat
hole, took me a while to figure it out. I just put seat over it, and sat on it,
and it popped out. And add the washer to peddle before you screw it in.

Damn UPS droped it off and took off running
without me signing, first time :( .

Overall its a nice bike, takes practice to master it I guess, its going to
take me a while to get used to this bike. Im guessing most of these mini folding bikes
are only made for smooth areas "only" .

eDIT: Tire psi rating can be anywhere around PSI 60-85, whichever is comfortable.
Couldnt see it on tire though.

Just so you guys know, this is more of a road bike. Not really meant
for off roading/terrain.

Faster and lighter than my Brompton, but that's probably because the wheels are bigger and it's made of weaker material. Easy to fold, but difficult to close-the-deal --- kept wanting to "unfold" on me after I closed it. The clippy-thing doesn't want to stay put. Dahon must've moved away from the magnets in the new models.

Pay attention to the "red dot" on the steering column. I didn't realize how important that was at first...and neither did the guys at the bike shop. Won't fold right unless it's clearly visible.

You have to mess with the pedal positioning a lot to get it to fold right...takes some practice.

Taking away a star because the steering column is incredibly weak and making creaking noises. Feel like it's going to snap off any moment. Also, the steering column shows indentations from repeated clipping/un clipping.
