This book has daily lessons in grammar and other elements of writing. The quick lessons are a great way to spark discussions with your students about the fundamentals of writing. The pages are easy to reproduce and include answer keys.

Successful Classroom Tool,

I have been teaching for 10 years, and this is by the best tool to teach students grammar. The program is set up to teach the skills repetetively, and boy do they ever need it! Anything that they struggle with, you can give them extra lessons in. What a great tool! Get it..you won't be sorry!

Quick and Easy,

This review is from: Daily Language Review, Grade 2 (Paperback)
This book is divided into weeks, with a 5 question review for each day of the week. I use this in my 2nd grade class. We do one a day, it takes about 10 min. for the kids to complete and for me to go over the skills and answers. It is a great way to review different skills, from correcting sentences, to matching vowel sounds in words or finding the correct spelling of a word. My students are finally getting that a complete sentence starts with a capital letter and ends in puncuation. I would recommend this book to any teacher that doesn't have time to teach a full grammar lesson each day.

I like this workbook as a supplementary or quickie tool. It is not hearty enough for "curriculum". I homeschool so I am exploring different workbooks for teaching tools.

I am happy with the structure and content of this workbook and all the other grade level books by this publisher; I used them in first and second grade with my son and plan to do the same with my daughter.
I piece together my curriculum from lots of different sources, using this publisher as my primary source for geography, math, spelling and language.

I use this in my class every day,
This review is from: Daily Language Review, Grade 2 (Paperback)
I make copies for the students, they fill them out and then we go over the answers on the overhead. I do this and "math minutes" every morning. It takes about 20 minutes for both but is a great review of skills in a way that is not threatening to the students because it seems short and fast to them. It covers basic spelling, grammar, and writing well. I highly recommend this book.

My child is now in the sixth grade. She should be only entering fourth grade but because we do curriculum like this she has been advanced. This book is excellent for homeschooling. They need repetition for writing skills, capitalization and grammar. If you just do one little section a day it really adds up over the year. It's easy and fast.

I love these books. Repetition is key with young ones, and these seem to cover everything they need to know. I have been very pleased with the content. I would recommend these to anyone.

Excellent Classroom daily skills workbook,

I've seen the results of using this workbook. Classrooms who use this daily have kids who perform much better on writing and vocabulary tests.
