practice is the key,

This is a sound SOL book for 4th graders. It provides concise review of SOL objectives with examples. The practice items are very similar to the real ones. Test-taking tips are fairly practical and easy to grasp. A nice SOL prep book.
Although it does a fine job of preparing for the SOL, you should not expect such a thin book improve your child's overall study magically. In addition, my daughter uses Beestar (a nice web site at http://www.beestar.org) to practice math and reading every week. Her friends use it, too. With solid skills ready, this book enhances SOL scores effectively. |
