About the Author

JOHN MACARTHUR (B.A., Los Angeles Pacific College; M.Div., Talbot Theological Seminary; Litt.D., Grace Graduate School; D.D., Talbot Theological Seminary) is Pastor and Teacher of Grace Community Church in Sun Valley, California and President of The Master’s College and Seminary in Santa Clarita, California, having founded Master’s seminary in 1986. An active conference speaker, Dr. MacArthur has been a featured teacher on the radio program Grace To You.

Since releasing his first bestselling book, The Gospel According to Jesus, in 1988, Dr. MacArthur has written over 150 books including a series of biblical commentaries, The Second Coming, Ashamed of the Gospel, Twelve Ordinary Men, and The MacArthur Study Bible, a 1998 ECPA Gold Medallion recipient.

This is an excellent book. I would suggest any material from John MacArthur. He is an excellent Bible teacher who doesn't shy away from the truth no matter how offensive it may be. I am totally satisfied with my purchase from Amazon.com. The product arrived in excellent shape and on time.

When I say this is a "reflective devotional", I mean you read the piece that has been written and then you get to the bottom of the page where you may be asked some questions that could have you skirming (just a little bit). It is an excellent resource for following the life of Christ.
