Somewhat disappointing, August 3, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: The Daily Show's Five Questions from Comedy Central (Paperback)
Even for the avid "Daily Show" fan (like myself), this book is a bit disappointing. Despite a witty and well written introduction by the Craigmeister himself, page after page of Five Questions tends to wear on the nerves a bit. It was interesting to read through once, but it is not the kind of book you'll read again and again. I suppose you get what's advertised, but you could always watch reruns.

A great book for fans of "Five QUESTIONS" from the Daily!, July 29, 1998

This review is from: The Daily Show's Five Questions from Comedy Central (Paperback)
This is like something for those late night fans who's got cable. The Daily show, a funny, alternative view at the news and world today is a great show, featured on Comedy Central. Craig Kilborn, the host of the show had thought up of this concept....FIVE QUESTIONS! The Daily show is news jokes, a funny news story like something on Dateline- usually making fun, pop culture, and more rolled up in one, so that MUST mean a short celebrity interview. And at the last few moments, Craig asks the Guest five questions, which can be like a pop quiz. Always starting for geography, and with such questions like " Who left the Cake in the rain?". There are opinion questions(where the guest could get wrong), about the guest, trivia, or something that involves a answer using the guest's name or something related with the guest. This book is mostly "blank" and may not be too funny for any random person who happens to pick it up. You must watch the Daily, and rememb! er that episode and the reactions to really get a good laugh. Then again Craig's intro is enough for most fans. And then again, wouldn't you want to know Mike Myers's answer to "Canada: What went wrong?" A good book for fans, maybe nonsense for most Comedy Central/Daily Show deprived viewers. It's a nice book.....

The Five Questions will make your head explode!, August 21, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: The Daily Show's Five Questions from Comedy Central (Paperback)
Five Questions. If you appear as a guest on the Daily Show, the Five would probably make your head explode. The Daily Show is probably one of the hottest late-night shows around, and Craiggers and his gang have proven just that for two straight years... With this book, you will explode in laughter as you read the answers to hundreds of questions from your favorite stars! If you're not a fan of the Daily Show, or don't have a clue as to what it is, don't buy it! However, if you love the dancing and the scene where a guy smashes a convict's head apart, buy it!
