Editorial Reviews

From the Author

The Daily Win was written in response to the demands of my clients who wanted specific action steps to take to change their business and personal lives. Readers have said, "This book is my friend. I consult with it daily. And when I keep my word to myself to consult it daily, I win daily!"

If you are looking for a book to give you direction, give you a mission, give you focus or help you celebrate your wins, this is the book! Regardless of whether you are 18 or 80-this book has a message and action step for you.

About the Author

Linda Talley, author of Business Finesse: Dealing With Sticky Situations in the Workplace for Managers and now, The Daily Win, has spent more than 18 years in communication and personal leadership. As an executive coach, she coaches her clients to uncover and then display their true magnificence.

Linda's message is that we are all magnificent. Most of us have hidden that magnificence because life came along and splashed muck all over us. And every time we got splashed, we never washed it off. So we became covered with muck and no one, including ourselves, could recognize us and our true magnificence. The Daily Win will help you uncover and then view your true magnificence.

When your true magnificence is displayed and others can see it, they are naturally attracted to you. You blossom forth/unfold just as a flower does. It's been said that when the flower blossoms, the bees come uninvited. The Daily Win shows you-day-by-day-how to blossom.

5.0 out of 5 stars A unique daily offering for business and personal success, January 5, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: The Daily Win (Paperback)
When I received "The Daily Win" I made a snap judgment about its contents and quickly categorized it in with the feel good "Thought of the Day" type calendars that seem to proliferate this time of year. However, upon taking a closer look and actually reading the pre-monthly sumaries with the daily thoughts, I came to realize how unique this effort is. It is quite different in its outlook and I can see that there is a lot of Linda Talley in its messages for daily living. If a person would take seriously the daily challenges expressed in the "Daily Win" and actually do them to the best of their abilities, it would create a more powerful lifestyle, utilizing better daily living habits in dealing with ourselves. The dominate thought that came to me from this book is this: the challenge is to deal with ourselves first, overcoming our own fears and weaknesses and then as a result, assume a more proactive and healthy way of dealing with others. We make hundreds of choices each day. If the "Daily Win" helps us to focus more clearly, commit more deeply and learn with more understanding and love when we choose, then Linda Talley has accomplished something special.
