I read this book every morning, and it helps me to focus on what I need to do to lose weight and to get closer to God. It is excellent. Dieters need all of the help that is available, and this book helps.

Daily Word for Weight Loss is a good "devotional" for anyone who wants to learn to feed their hungers in a way that is wise. Mostly it's encouragement -- not a book saying all the same things in all the same ways.

Although this book comes from a christian source, I did not find it didactic. I think anyone who believes in a High Power would find gentle motivation from the daily readings and stories contained in this small volume.
