This was the first Jill Gregory book I have read, and I loved it! As the other review states, it is a page turner, I read mine in three days. A strong outspoken female and a moral sensitive man with a strong sexual undercurrent throughout the book. It was great!

Daisies in the Wind was an AVERAGE read at best.

It has a strong premise. Daughter of an outlaw attracted to a sheriff. I was excited to see how these "sworn enemies" would find their Happily Ever After. Unfortunately this book was (dare I say) boring. I found myself daydreaming about other things while I was reading....I didn't think that was possible.

Wolf was a solid leading man. A tortured hero with his deceased wife's betrayals and his distrust of women. The secondary characters...Wolf's mother and son were a nice addition to the story. Even Rebeccah was a decent heroine. The problem lay with chemistry...or in this book's case the "lack of chemistry". Chemistry is a hard thing to quantify or qualify....but you know when you're reading it or not. There are times in books where the chemistry is so intense that it's like the pages are on fire.....(have you ever had that experience)? This book was leukwarm at best. Leukwarm chemistry between the H/H, leukwarm plot, leukwarm characters....definitely a "so-so" experience.

I can't recommend this book. If you want some GREAT westerns....try ANYTHING by Maggie Osborne!

I don't know what it was about this book that kept me up all night just to see what happened. I really enjoyed the conflict that these two people had. Rebecca trying to get over her fathers past & Wolf trying to get over a past desertion. Neither one of them wanting to be hurt by the other yet both hurting the other to make up for their feelings. It was a page turner. I was up until 3AM and had to get up at 5AM to go to work. It was well worth it. I enjoyed the characters very much. I hope you will enjoy it as well.

This book was actually a really good book. It didn't keep me as interested as all the other Jill Gregory books I have read. But overall, it was pretty good.
