Book Description

Each book in the Clover Park Series can be read as a stand-alone novel, or for more fun read them in order. Characters you’ve loved from past books frequently pop up in other books.

Reality is overrated…

Exhausted single mom Daisy Garner is shocked when her blog about life with Darling Husband and Baby Delight in their charming Victorian home brings a national talk show to her door.

Amazing! Except she made the whole thing up.

Panic! Now she needs to borrow a Victorian house and find a man to play her fake husband on TV.

Travis O'Hare steps up for the role, as long as she'll marry him for real. He wants their son to have the stable home life Travis never had.

But before the wedding can happen, Travis and Daisy have to get through the interview with a ratings hungry host and a slick producer with ties to Daisy's troubled past. When a winter storm traps them all, it begs the question: can two people pretending at love finally discover the real thing?

The Clover Park Series
Book 1: The Opposite of Wild
Book 2: Daisy Does It All

Book 4: Kissing Santa (a Novella)

Editorial Reviews

Review

"The characters in this book are downright hilarious sometimes. I mean, when you start a book off with a fake life and immediately follow it by a rejected proposal, you know that you are in for a fun ride."--The Little Black Book Blog

"A great follow up to the first book, characters and situations feel real and possible and their connection is palpable almost from the first encounter. A fun and romantic series that has characters overcoming their own issues, pasts and histories to find the one thing we all want: love."--I am, Indeed

"I LOVED LOVED the first book in the series, and this one is just as good. I officially love Kylie Gilmore and will continue to follow her now, because she has proven her skill."--For the Love of Bookends

"Daisy Does It All was a light fun read. Yes, the characters are flawed, but their flaws make the story."--What I'm Reading

"Ms. Gilmore wrote a wonderful love story that's very modern in its feel, and a little backwards by traditional standards. Travis and Daisy might have done things a little out of order, but it worked out in the end. Sometimes, the happy ending isn't really what matters because you know it's coming. Sometimes, how the characters get there matters more."--Written Love

"Daisy Does It All is a sweet book with a hint of sizzle. The characters are all very real and I found myself laughing along with them and also having my heart ripped in two for them."--A is for Alpha, B is for Book

"If you're a fan of contemporary romances full of laughter, great characters, plenty of emotion, and a great small town feel, you've got to try Kylie Gilmore's stories."--Storm Goddess Book Reviews

About the Author

Kylie Gilmore was lucky enough to discover romance novels at a young age as they were strewn all over the house (thanks, Mom!). She writes quirky, tender romance with a solid dose of humor. Her Clover Park series features the O'Hare brothers, three guys you'd definitely have a drink with and maybe a little more.

Kylie lives in New York with her family, two cats, and a nutso dog. When she's not writing, wrangling kids, or dutifully taking notes at writing conferences, you can find her flexing her muscles all the way to the high cabinet for her secret chocolate stash.

5.0 out of 5 stars Gilmore Goes Two For Two May 6, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition
Daisy Does It All, book 2 in Kylie Gilmore’s Clover Park Series, is a fantastic follow-up to the series’ debut book, The Opposite of Wild. Once again, the author draws us into her charming small Connecticut town, sharing with us the intimacy and camaraderie of a close-knit community, along with a healthy, heapin’ dose of Gilmore’s signature off the wall humor.

This time around, free spirit Daisy Garner is trying very hard to shed her live-for-the-moment-and-consequences-be-damned ways and provide a stable home for her newborn son, Bryce. But being a single mom is hard, exhausting…and lonely. For the sake of her sanity, Daisy starts a blog on which she embellishes her life, adding in the perfect husband and the perfect home. Who’s to know it’s all just a fantasy? The fun really starts when a major talk show wants to interview Daisy and her perfect family on national TV. Daisy is forced to turn to Bryce’s father, hot hot hot bad boy Travis O’Hare, for help. Travis seizes the opportunity to become her husband, both on and off camera. He’s determined to prove to Daisy his reckless days are behind him and he’s ready to settle down with his family. When a winter blizzard traps them in the house together along with the TV crew, Daisy is hard-pressed to fend off Trav’s sweltering advances without destroying her new-found public persona.

Gilmore provides both a steady stream of hilarity as well as love scenes that practically sizzle off the page. Daisy’s character is totally relatable as a new mother who wants to do everything right for her child, but whose free-wheeling past hasn’t exactly prepared her for life as a soccer mom. Travis is a steamy dream as the bad boy turned responsible. I mean, really, is there anything sexier than a new dad so totally smitten with his baby?

5.0 out of 5 stars One Steamy Romance May 11, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition
Five stars are given to Daisy Does It All because Daisy is a loveable screw-up that changes her life, accepts new challenges and takes responsibility for her actions. Daisy's situations are extraordinary, comical and adorable just like Daisy.

I related to the main character because of her self-doubt that pushes her to try and try again in an effort to stop being the town screw-up.

Synopsis:

A delightful woman that is a daughter, a mother and a screw-up, Daisy, finds her way into the hearts of the townspeople, social media and TV. Daisy's life and men shenanigans are intertwined in hot situations both in and out of the bedroom. A simple embellishment on her blog where she poses as sex goddess super mom results in a TV interview. The trick is that the perfect image must be maintained and results in a town hall marriage. The new husband is the father of her child, Travis O'Hare, a family man that believes he is the winner of a beautiful wife who is the mother of his child. One quick wedding turns into a snowed-in talk show fiasco. Too many sexy men one her husband and one her ex-boyfriend are trapped under one roof both of them are pursuing Daisy. The O'Hare boys, strong family men, Travis, Ryan and Shane and their survival skills keep everyone warm and fed during the black out which is a blessing in disguise. Through a bunch of steamy misadventures Daisy figures out that not all of her screw-ups were mistakes and love conquers all but not without a few spicy twists and turns. Discover how Daisy turns into a loving responsible mother and wife that may be the sex goddess super mom with a few good flaws.

The pacing is perfect and I was hooked and unable to put it down because I had to know what happened to Daisy when her perfectly wonderful and fake Mommy blog life and her actual life collided!
Gilmore contrasts some wonderfully steamy scenes (by the way, those steamy scenes do not disappoint!), with hilarious ones, like when a crying baby forces milk to release onto the ratty t shirt Daisy wore while blogging about how to seduce your man post-baby! So much heart and truth all the way through this story!
This was a well-written story about what happens when a lie gets away from you, the consequences, and the ability to forgive yourself and accept your shortcomings and be happy with what life has sent your way! I can’t wait for the next Clover park book!

Cute, quirky, and oh so frustrating at times! The tension is enough to make the sweetness so much more so, and you can't help but fall in love with town screw ups Daisy and Trav!

4.0 out of 5 stars Very sweet May 1, 2014
By Terisa
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Daisy Garner is a single mom to a 6-month old baby boy named Bryce that she loves more than anything. She has made a life time of mistakes and is determined to do right by Bryce. No more doing whatever she wanted, whenever she wants, no more fly by night one night stands which is how she came to be pregnant in the first place, no more mistakes. That doesn’t mean that she doesn’t dream about the perfect life though so Daisy started a blog with the perfect family. Darling husband, even though she didn’t have one. Baby delight when in fact Bryce had Colic and would cry for hours at time. And then theirs Daisy, the perfect mom that cooked, cleaned and was always prepared even though she couldn’t cook, hated to clean and was never prepared. She had thousands of followers and all of loved her! When she’s approached by a national talk show asking her for an interview at her beautiful Victorian home along with darling husband and baby delight, what’s a girl to do? Lie… or at least find a way to try and pass it off.

Travis O’Hare wants for his son to have both parents in his life full time, he’s tired of being a part time dad. Daisy won’t marry him though and won’t budge to any of his requests so what’s a guy to do? Blackmail…. He agrees to be her husband and lie on national TV is she agrees to marry him for real. One problem though… they really don’t know each all that well and nothing ever works out like you plan.

This was a great story with some really funny characters. Daisy drove me a bit nuts at time because she’s so stubborn but she’s quick witted and funny which made up for her downfalls. Travis was sweet and endearing even when Daisy wouldn’t budge on anything. Oh and Travis’ Gran was hilarious!
