This was my grandson's favorite gift. It appears to be well built and clear directions. He had so much fun using this BB gun.

This bb gun is what it advertised itself to be. While it is a lever action cocking bb gun, it is a fine trainer because it is set up very much like all the .22 rifles I've had that are common to get. The safety and the adjustable sights are the same as the Marlin 60 tube fed semi automatic rifles. (RED IS DEAD) So then from that standpoint, for the money, there you go. Even if you, like I, wanted some sort of emergency end of the world bb gun, this is one you can get away with shooting. If you want survival gear, get a knife and make a bow and arrow, or learn to make gun powder and do a pipe gun, maybe. A long spear?

Love it, took with me on hike. Shot about 75-100 BB and the thing still fires like a champ. One pump fire is a neat idea but originally I thought all BB guns were multiple pump. Live and learn. The BB comes out just fast enough to not want to put your hand in front of it. I like hitting stuff far away accounting for the BB drop, waiting for the sound.

This was my first BB Gun ever. It still works fine, 7 years later. I can't use it as much since I moved to a place where the neighbors complain but when I do it works just as fine as when I bought it.

My only complaints would be that when you're loading it up, you have to shake the BB's occasionally so that it'll go in the slot correctly. Not a big deal, very simple to do.

This gun is consistently accurate for a BB gun. Its quiet and reloads quick. Now, what it doesnt do is fire down the center of the sight, thus forcing me to remember some arbitrary point on the sight somewhere about halfway left of the center and a little high @ 30 feet, and well, people don't want to do that when we are trying to have fun shooting targets.

I used to have a Daisy 880, lasted 6 years of constant use before seals gave out, bought another 880 but it wasn't as accurate. I read that Daisy lowered the quality of the gun. So I gave it away. And while the 880 isn't as cheap, portable, or as quick to load, at least it offered a mount and sights that were aligned properly. Id rather have a scope on my gun and not deal with this gun's retarded sight, missing stuff over and over because I don't remember some arbitrary spot..

I felt like a kid again. Be careful " you will shoot your eye out!: It's now time to pass on the BB gun mystic to the next Generation. Hopefully my grand-kids will create lasting memories too.

Bought this for my son for Christmas. Although he just turned thirty, it's a tradition to watch "A Christmas Story", over and over on Christmas day. The BB gun was the last present he opened and he was totally floored. "Best Christmas Ever" were his words. It is the first gun he has ever owned. I had also bought a box of bb's so he spent the next hour or so outside shooting it. I have been an avid hunter for 35 years but never introduced him to the sport. That being said, as far as the gun itself, its a basic gun. One cock of the lever and it's ready to shoot. Accuracy is mediocre to maybe 15-20 yards, then starts dropping fast. Mainly because of the limited power. Make no mistake though, this bb gun can hurt someone if not handled or used correctly. Did not buy this for target practice or to hunt. This bb gun was bought for nostalgic purposes only.
