This book is not the how-to Aikido or Jujutsu teaching materials. It is, however, a collection of interviews of many great Daito-ryu masters, many of them studied directly from Sokaku Takeda. In short, if you are interested in the history of Aiki-related art such as Aikido or Daito-ryu, this is an excellent book. This book gives you the feeling of how the art was practiced in the old day. If you are looking for something to use as a reference for your Aikido or Jujutsu classes, look for something else.Great book! |
