I purchased this bag in the Alpine Plaid and really like the look of it. Also, the zippers are very durable and feel as though they should last many years. The nicest feature of the bag was that it was small enough to be used as a carry-on during my recent flight to New York (I ordered the Medium size). I could even fit my laptop (in its case) on top of my clothing and other personal items. This saved me more money than I paid for the bag! Overall, I stand by this bags quality. Dakine has done a nice job.

I like the bag but it did not come with the hard piece of material for the bottom. I have never purchased a bag without this included so it never even crossed my mind. If the bag is full it looks and works fine but if not the bag does not keep its shape at all.

This is a duffel bag. One end pocket and one large section with no internal pockets. I hope it is well made and last me a while, but for the price of this bag, I thought it would at least have a reinforced bottom, or insert, but it does not. I cut a piece of lined vinyl for the bottom because I'm using it for a roller derby skate bag, which can get heavy and I don't want my skates or other equipment to wear this bag out too fast. It's a nice sized bag and looks well made but I should have had more patience to shop for one that was built to last and more suited to my needs for the price I paid.

I give it high marks because of the price vs. storage capacity and overall build. Solid bag. Not built for Afghanistan but for multiple family trips, yup. It's only fault is it could use another outside zipper pocket or two. Outside of that, I've bought 4 and use them with joy!

I'm not a suitcase type guy, I personally like to use duffle bags when I travel and go on vacation.

This bag is constructed very well and the zippers are very strong and durable. No problems or issues with me, I love the bag and it does what I need it to do. Comes with 2 handle straps or the long should strap that is removable. Material feels like military material which I like, very strong and kevlarish. Lettering and logo is actually stitched in

As FYI, only has one side deep compartment pocket and one main compartment.

Overall, a nice looking bag and the quality seems decent. The 51-Liter bag is a little smaller than I anticipated- slightly larger than a backpack. It will comfortably hold enough clothes for a 2 day weekend trip, but not much more than that. If you plan to use this for trips lasting more than a couple days, I would go with the 74-Liter version.

I love this bag so much. It takes an awful loads of stuff, I could not even believe it. I ordered the medium size. The colour is also great and the material is from being cheap, the zipper is at the level. I am a huge fan of DaKine products, been buying their product a lot cause they are durable and never failed me and they adapt to all sort of weather. I loved it so much that I ordered another but Large this time and I was not disappointed at all with the new one either. The price is also very affordable. They well deserved their 5 stars...!!!!

I got the largest bag at 74l and let me tell you This Bag is HUGE! It's more than a weekend bag. I like the look and quality of the bag I am ordering a second, smaller bag for gym and weekend use. Dakine is high quality at a low price. Period.

This is my second Dakine bag. Last year I purchased a small 31L bag. This new one I just purchased is the 51L bag. Basically its the same bag just a bit bigger. I bought both of these bags because they looked cool. I use them for light travel and going to the beach/pool. They are decent and seem to be made well but one thing they both are lacking is an interior pocket. It would be very nice if they provide a small interior zipping pocket to stow my cell phone, wallet, etc. There is no interior pocket, so all of your smaller items just get jumbled around in the abyss in the bottom of the bag. The end pocket is good but it still would help to have small interior secure storage. Otherwise the bag is fine.
