Book Description

Silhouette Desire April 14, 2009

The last obstacle entrepreneur Jared Dalton needed between him and a fifteen-million-dollar bet was a woman with a grudge. He knew their long-ended affair was the reason Megan Sorenson refused to sell him her ranch. Determined to get back into her good graces, Jared sought Megan out...and discovered her son. Their son.

Now Jared would need more than his surefire charm and seductive smile. For this woman and their son were priceless. And this Dakota daddy would stop at nothing to make them his own.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not a backbone in sight, June 5, 2009

This review is from: Dakota Daddy (Silhouette Desire) (Mass Market Paperback)
She owns her own business, with several employees. Makes enough money to send her son to private school. And still... did her brain dribble out her ears?!? I mean chemistry is one thing, but come on! Every single decision is wrong. She realizes that he still affects her, and two sentences later, she's GOING TO HIS HOUSE FOR DINNER? She doesn't even have the wherewithal to tell him to keep his hands to himself! Every couple of pages she's telling herself "Well, I'll have to keep my guard up, keep my wits about me." I see no sign of guard. Nor any wits at all.
This book makes me so mad I can't sleep. I will say it's probably a good thing the hero comes back into the heroine's life. They deserve each other. She's a jellyfish and he's totally oblivious to everything outside his wants and desires. "No harm, no foul" seem to be his mantra. Not one of the authors better efforts.

1.0 out of 5 stars whimpy heroine, December 13, 2011

the hero is a jerk and he did get cold feet. he was selfish and he wanted the heroine to give up everything for him so he could spend time with his son. the heroine had no pride. she let him know he was the only one. she let him take all the decisions for her and told him that he could do do. what kind of self respecting woman do that?
