Editorial Reviews

This 2-DVD Collector's Edition of Dale Evans: Beyond the Happy Trails interviews family and friends who celebrate the life of Dale Evans and Roy Rogers and their influence on American culture. Despite being a destitute, divorced, single-mother at age 16, Dale went on to be a role model for millions of young girls. She starred in more than 100 movies and television shows and authored 28 inspirational books, including Angel Unaware, which provoked a generation to love and care for children with special needs. For everyone who grew up in the 1930s, 1940s, and 1950s, Roy and Dale were an every-Saturday attraction on the movie screen or television. INCLUDED in your 2-DVD Collector's Edition: Dale Evans: Beyond the Happy Trails My Pal Trigger (73 min, uncut) Lights of Old Santa Fe (73 min, uncut) The Roy Rogers TV Show: Brady's Bonanza The Roy Rogers TV Show: Backfire The Roy Rogers' 100th Birthday Commemorative Collection is a wonderful reminder to some, and an introduction to others, of the values and character of Roy Rogers and Dale Evans.

THE BACKSTORY OF DALE EVANS REVEALS A SIDE OF HER LIFE WE NEVER KNEW DURING THE YEARS SHE AND ROY WERE IN THE SPOTLIGHT. DALE AND ROY WERE TRUELY THE "GOOD GUYS" THEY PLAYED WITHOUT SEEKING ANY PUBLIC RECOGNITION FOR THEIR KIND AND LOVING LIFESTYLE. THE SOCIAL MEDIA HOGS OF TODAY SHOULD TAKE NOTE TO LEARN GENEROSITY AND HUMILITY FROM THE ROGERS.

Excellent dvd! I am in my 30s but I am a big Roy Rogers fan because I grew up hearing stories about Roy from my grandparents because my Grandma used to live down the street from him. My Grandma and Roy were baptised together in 1948.

I had the pleasure of meeting Dale's husband (Roy Rogers) when I was very young in the 1950's. They were both class acts and a tribute to Christianity. Wish we had more like them.
