This is a nice floor lamp at a good price (I got it at a lower price than it is currently listed at) but I was disappointed in it because, first, the shade is much more yellow than it appears to be on the site. That's okay, but if the colors in the room where it will be don't go well with a golden yellow shade, then you're going to be unhappy.

Also, the product description says that the lamp holds 3 40 watt bulbs, but in fact it holds only 2. This was a major disappointment because it's 33% less bright than you are led to expect.

It seems to be well made and solid - the shade is glass (or something tha seems like glass)and the base is heavy and solid. I like the look of the lamp very much. It's just something I should have seen in person in order to make a really informed decision whether or not to buy.
