A smorgasbord of early 80s new wave sounds....,

This review is from: Dalek I Love You (Hk) (Reis) (Audio CD)
Dalek is avante-garde early 80s new wave synth music. Catchy melodies, dance rhythms, flamboyant male new wave vocals, and sing-song female background vocals bring to mind the likes of the B-52s and Tom Tom Club, with hints of more structured synthpop bands like Depeche Mode and Heaven 17 and a hint of General Public thrown in for good measure. If you need a fresh taste of 80s new wave, you should give them a try. You're sure to find a couple of really strong tracks.

Buy this, read the excellent sleeve notes & impress everybody with your unique tastes & knowledge of very obscure corners of british pop music.
It is also one of the most underrated records of the 80s. Infectious and very witty. |
