Editorial Reviews

From DJ flap: The paintings of Dalhart Windberg capture, for many Texans, the tranquility of the hillsides, meadows, harbors and shores of the Lone Star State. Because of his gentle touch and distinctive artistic technique, Windberg has garnered a dedicated following that reaches from the small rural towns of Texas to the premiere art centers of the United States and the world. Reading this book was an absolute joy. I met Dalhart back in the early 70s but there is no reason for him to remember me. After reading the story I truly was able to appreciate what he went through to obtain the success he so greatly deserved. If you have a print of this artist you need to read the book to have a real appreciation of what you have. Well done!
